How to Request Deletion of Your Account and Data
We understand that you may wish to delete your account and associated personal data from our service. This guide will walk you through the process. Please read it carefully before proceeding, as data deletion is permanent.
Important: Data deletion is an irreversible process. Once your account and associated data are deleted, they cannot be recovered. This includes your profile information, activity history, and any other data linked to your account.
Prerequisites:
- You must be logged into your account to initiate a data deletion request. This helps us verify that the request is legitimate and made by the account owner.
- If you are unable to log in, please try resetting your password first.
Steps to Request Data Deletion:

Log In to Your Account:
Ensure you are logged into the Planmitus website using the credentials for the account you wish to delete.

Navigate to the Profile Page:
Select the Profile tab in the top navigation.
- Click the Request Data Deletion button.

Review the Information:
On the data deletion request page, you will find details about the process, including a confirmation of the email address associated with your logged-in account.

Provide a Reason (Optional):
You may be asked to provide a reason for your deletion request. While optional, this feedback can help us improve our services.

Confirm Your Understanding:
You will need to check a box to confirm that you understand this action is irreversible and that all data associated with your account will be permanently deleted.

Submit the Request:
Click the "Submit Deletion Request" (or similarly labeled) button.
What Happens Next?
- Request Submitted: You will receive an on-screen confirmation that your request has been submitted.
- Administrative Review: An administrator will review your request to ensure the integrity of the process.
- Data Deletion: If your request is approved, we will delete your personal data from our active systems, including data stored in our primary database managed by our backend services.
- Processing Time: The deletion process may take a few business days. We aim to handle requests promptly.
- Confirmation: A final confirmation email will be sent once the deletion is complete. You will no longer be able to log in to your account afterward.
Data Retention in Backups: Please note that while your data will be removed from our active systems, it may persist in backup archives for a limited time, in accordance with our data retention policies. This data is not actively used and will be overwritten or deleted according to our backup cycle.
